Proof Load Testing – Calibrated Block Weights

Wazee Crane™ now offers test weights for rental. We have over 300,000 lbs. of calibrated weights available in various configurations designed to eliminate the dangers and logistical challenges of water bag testing. We can help your company conduct proof-load testing for a range of applications.

Common Applications for Heavy Test Weights

Load Testing: Ensuring Safety and Compliance
Heavy test weights simulate the loads required by various codes. OSHA 1910.179(k)(2) requires that all new, repaired, or altered overhead cranes be load tested prior to initial use. CMAA specification 78 recommends load-testing in service cranes every four years. Our test weights can be used to meet either requirement.
Calibration and Verification
Test weights are essential for calibrating and verifying the accuracy of large-scale weighing systems and industrial weighing equipment. Wazee Crane test weights are calibrated and serialized for accurate testing and documentation.

Price, Delivery, and Service

All our test weights are priced per pound, with the current rate of $1/lbs/week. Shipping will be prepaid by Wazee Crane, with charges invoiced back to your facility. Our Wazee technicians will be on-site to help assist you with unloading, performing all required work, and loading the test weights for shipment back to our facility.
