Spreader Beams

In addition to building cranes, Wazee Crane manufactures custom spreader beams and lifting beams that act as a crosspiece for spacing hooks or chains that hold crane loads such as bars, racks, rolls, cylinders, and heavy machinery. Engineered by our certified crane professionals, our lifting and spreader beams are built tough to handle even the most demanding daily tasks.

Our modern manufacturing facility and years of industry experience have allowed us to build many common and custom spreader beams to fit our customers’ needs, whether they are supplied with a new crane, or serve as an addition to your present system. Spreader beams are primarily used for material handling of heavy equipment in facilities such as steel mills, steel service centers, pulp and paper mills, power plants and other environments that require this type of equipment.

Lifting and spreader beams can be built with the following additions/modifications:

• swivel, formed or plate hooks
• adjustable spreads
• multiple sling location points
• manual or electric power rotation
• special capacities

Wazee Crane's fabricated beams are each individually proof tested and come with a Certificate of Test/Performance along with an Operating/Warning and Inspection manual.
